Here are a few soccer pics of the kids this fall for my sis. It is quite funny watching a girly girl play soccer. Logan also improved by leaps and bounds this season. He looked so small next to some of the older kids in the league.

Finally a Post!

I know, it's been a busy fall! Here are a few pics of the kids on Halloween. Logan was Darth Vader for every event. Olivia was Hannah Montana, Cinderella, and Sleeping Beauty. I only have pictures of her as Sleeping Beauty here.

Save a Mom

If you ever see mom with a Spider man sticker stuck to her back, please save her from further embarrassment. We spent half of the day shopping for school supplies. Of course, we had to go to several crowded stores to find everything. When were walking out to the car to head home I felt something in the middle of my back, the spider man sticker. I asked Logan when he put it there. He said "before we went into Walmart" which was the first store we went to! So the next time you see a mom with something embarrassing her children have done to her, please save her.

Wow, time passes so quickly. I can't believe you're 7. Happy Birthday!

Just Like New!

Two weeks ago Olivia fell and chipped her top front tooth on one of her bottom teeth. We went back to the dentist today, and he bonded it. It's amazing. It looks just like new again. The pictures don't do it justice. I had trouble getting a clear close of picture of her tooth.

On a side note I just found out that my camera will do the color accent thing too. Thanks Chrissey! Maybe I should have read the owners manual when I got the camera.

Hard sleeper or sleep walker?

We always check on our kids before we go to bed. This is how we found Logan last night. I asked him about it and he doesn't remember a thing. He normally calls us if he falls out of bed just to let us know that he is OK, but not last night. So, I don't know if he fell out of bed or just crawled down there in his sleep.

Yes, he still occassionally falls out of bed. Does anyone else have this problem? Maybe I should buy him a full size bed.

Beating the Heat

Day 5

He was still not able to keep anything down. He was also very weak and dehydrated, but after a trip to the ER, and a bag of IV fluids he is doing better, although he is still pretty fearful of taking anything by mouth. Tommorrow will be a better day.

Day 4

Of Logan's stomach bug. He asked me today "Mom will I ever feel better again?"

Weekend in Vegas

We spent the weekend in Las Vegas courtesy of Ewing for manager's meetings and his company party.

This trip confirmed the fact that I do not like to fly. It makes me nervous. Especially on the way home when the pilot came on the intercom, and told us that they were putting more fuel in the plane in case we had to fly around the storms in Oklahoma. I included a picture from the plane on the way out to Vegas.

We stayed at Caesar's Palace. It was very nice. They did not have any rooms ready with King beds so we took one with two queens, which was fine with us since it was quite large. It also included a bidea (spelling?), which I have never actually seen in person. More to come in following posts.
